World Crisis ... or the lack of purpose.
We are suffering multiple aspects of
the World crisis every day, it does not matter your country, we are all
facing the consequences of a political decadence reflected in every
aspect of our society (economics, finance, commerce, society,
politics, education, health, etc.).
It really looks chaotic, but it is not
so. Actually a dialogue in the movie “The International” put it
very clearly: “the real value of a conflict, the true value, is in
the debt that it creates. You control the debt, you control
everything.”
So, everything is about control ….
and because we as individuals and societies lost our sense of purpose
we are very easy to control.
Let me focus on institutions for a
few paragraphs, I will present a very interesting example.
Not so far ago in a South
American country the so called intellectual young movement of a
political party devised a very interesting strategy, they just
tempered with the promotion structure of different institutions. You
just need to promote the wrong people and you will successfully
subvert the values of an institution. Apply the formula to politics,
police, army, etc. and you have conflict granted. Just add some
extortive and/or threatening ingredients and you have control over the management of the
institutions.
Sometimes it is not even about control,
is just to create conflict, you make the mix and let them do their
thing, you are assured that nothing good is going to come out. If
someone wants to leave the game or do something inappropriate, just
use the extortive/threatening resources.
This does not mean that all bureaucrats
(in the good sense) are like that, but there is no much room for
individuality either, free thinkers are very dangerous in fact. It will
came a moment in time where the good people goes out or simply it is
not promoted.
The scenario is sad, but leaves a
conclusion: Change will not come from the top of the pyramid, it's
already too corrupted.
Change has to come from the bottom up,
but we are already too divided and confused, conflict is already
everywhere.
Just take a few steps back, and look at
the smallest social groups: family, close circle of friends, working
environment; and analyze what you see? Take everything aside and just
look at the purpose of the different players: is it spiritual? is it
material? is it selfish? is it short or long term oriented?
We can discuss economics or politics,
we can get really technical but at the end things do not match and we
will probably agree that administrations are not taking the right
measures. There are always secret agendas, and things are never what
they seem.
Military intervention in third
countries, corrupt governments, genetically modified foods, financial
rescue for banks (after the responsible ones go home with golden hand
shakes), refugees, over exploitation of natural resources …. and in
the middle of all this problems a lot of people suffering and dying.
Independently of the problems,
solutions should be simple: put the right people in the right place,
let them evaluate the situation and take the proper measures to
correct it. You just imagine that you are a country and you have
almost unlimited resources at your disposition …. what could go
wrong?
As we all know, that's never the case. Problems go in one direction and solutions in the other.
All the process has been distorted
since long time ago, we can go as far as our history. Most of our
social beliefs are built on myths. Our history is not even real,
records of the real history have been destroyed or are hidden.
Not even political or economic systems
reflect what they are supposed to be, but people keeps playing along.
People keeps voting, paying taxes and feeding the system. By the way,
elections are a very nice way of making money, almost a win win situation, people is even happy
because they believe that they actually have something to say.
This is not against democracy, because
a dictatorship is not good either. The point is not to lose the focus
and get lost in that debate, the issue is not democracy, communism or
dictatorships, they are just aspects of the same thing, the basic
problem is that people is actually not choosing anything …. and
suffering in the process.
Look at religion, mainly the so called
book-religions: Muslims, Jews, Catholics or Christians (some
Christians don't agree with the Catholic Church either). Without
getting into details, the differences are basically in the way they
show their beliefs. It is not just love, otherwise there were
probably no fights amongst them.
Is it our world just a very well organized marketing campaign?
The offer is of similar products with different labels so customers just get distracted doing shopping.
Well, for sure once you become a compulsory shopper you lose track of
the details, you actually end up buying things that you do not need.. And then you are just part of a captive market.
Going back to the purpose, what would
happen if, suddenly, groups of people became more exigent: students
with teachers in the school, employees with their boss in the office,
bureaucrats with their Directors and Ministers in the Government?
That will be an scenario very difficult
to contain right? Will it produce change?
For once the most important factor is
unity, so the question is how to reach unity as a group.
You have to leave all the “created”
divisions aside and focus on a common purpose, well above anything
else.
Is it not our future and well-being as
humanity important enough?

taking the red pill
Hi,the Matrix phrase synthesizes the concept of this blog, the realization that many things we see are not real and the constant search for the trigger to produce change.
I believe that many of you do not agree with what we have to face everyday (and I do not mean only our individual lives), we were supposed to be a little more evolved by this time and yet, things are getting worst and corruption more obvious than ever.
Seems that the classic science fiction movies portraying a police state (Hunger Games style) are not so far fetched, we are going in that direction.
It's obvious that we can not produce a sustainable change alone, so sharing and exchanging ideas in search of a synergy is really needed.
But we have to wake up! How to fight domestication? well first we have to STOP (and look around), THINK (asking Why? will be a good start) and then we will be able to SURVIVE.
Of course is a little more complex than that but that's the idea of the blog.
From politics to business, research and beliefs, will try to bring some issues who could contribute to the search and also to the exchange of ideas.
Our history is also one of my big interests, an important part of who we are as humanity is in our past .... the real one.
The spiritual touch is also important (as much unbiased as possible), after all WE are part of the problem.
